Every Quorum engagement follows the same five-stage process. It is designed to move quickly, to minimise the demand on your time, and to produce measurable results before the end of the third month.
A 30-minute conversation with your named Quorum pair. We will ask about your community's history, your current platform, your member demographic, and what you have already tried. You will leave with an honest initial read on where your community sits and whether Quorum is the right fit. No slide deck, no proposal until we know whether we can genuinely help.
Your digital partner conducts a full audit of your current community: platform analytics, member engagement data, content history, onboarding experience, and mobile accessibility. Your senior partner reviews member-facing content, the tone of existing communications, and the platform's match with your member demographic. You receive a written audit summary before we agree to proceed.
The audit is free of charge and without obligation. If it tells us your community does not need Quorum, we will say so clearly and tell you what it does need instead.
Based on the audit, we build your community's operating foundations: platform configuration (or migration, if the audit recommends it), a 90-day content calendar aligned to your sector's key events and conversations, a member onboarding sequence, and your moderation guidelines. Everything is agreed with you before we launch. Nothing goes live until you have approved it.
We activate your community. Your senior partner writes and sends the launch communication to your membership in your organisation's voice. Your digital partner manages the technical onboarding of your first active group, sets up sub-groups, and begins the content calendar. By the end of week four, your community has its first active members and its first real conversations.
For communities with an existing membership list, we typically aim for 15–25% active participation within the first four weeks of launch, rising to 30–40% by month three. Your audit will give you a more specific target based on your platform and member profile.
From month two, your Quorum pair manages your community on the rhythm agreed in stage three. Content is produced and scheduled by your digital partner to the calendar. Member queries are responded to within 24 hours on working days. Events are coordinated by your digital partner and represented in member-facing communications by your senior partner. Your monthly report arrives in your inbox on the first working day of each month.
Weekly
Monthly
Platform configured. Content calendar live. First active members onboarded. Senior member welcome complete. Community guidelines in place. First monthly report delivered to your team.
Participation growing. First community event held. Member-generated content appearing alongside Quorum-produced content. Senior member contributions increasing. Your board receives a report with measurable trends.
Active participation rate at 25–40% of your member base. First members citing the community as a reason to renew. Your board can see the renewal data and the engagement correlation. The community is self-sustaining between posts.
Typically 45 to 60 minutes per month from your membership lead: a brief to approve the monthly content calendar, attendance at the strategy review call, and a read of the monthly report. We handle everything else. The point of Quorum is to remove the burden from your team, not add to it.
The audit in stage two will tell you honestly whether a migration is necessary or whether better management of your current platform is sufficient. We do not recommend migrations that are not needed. When they are needed, we manage the technical migration as part of setup, with minimal disruption to your members.
Before the discovery call, we review your organisation's sector, your member demographic, and the nature of your community's conversations. We introduce you to your proposed senior partner at the start of the audit stage and ask your explicit agreement before proceeding. If the match is not right, we find one that is.
Active member count and trend, new member onboarding performance, content engagement by post type, a summary of the conversations your members are having, one or two specific recommendations for the following month, and the key renewal-correlated engagement metrics. Written for a membership director, not a platform analyst.
Three months. This is not a contract lock-in — it is the minimum time needed to set the foundations, activate the community, and produce the first meaningful engagement data. We do not accept engagements shorter than three months because a community that is started and immediately stopped is worse than one that was never started.
Book a slot with your Quorum pair. We will review your current community before the call so we can give you something specific and useful from the first conversation.
